ICSI restructured the CS Executive Entrance Test with effect from the June 2026 session. A great deal of the CSEET material circulating online, including second-hand notes and older question banks, still describes the previous format. If you prepare from it, you will prepare for the wrong exam.
What this means in practice. CSEET is no longer a test you can clear by recognising the right option. Three of the four papers now require you to write structured answers by hand, within time, at an examination centre. That is a different skill, and it is the one most students underestimate. Our CSEET batches teach answer writing from the first month rather than treating it as revision-season polish.

Batches are organised by session. Because CSEET runs three times a year, the right question is not whether you can start now but which sitting you can realistically be ready for.

Registering for CSEET February 2027? The ICSI registration deadline is 31 October 2026. Joining a coaching batch does not register you with ICSI — those are separate steps. We track the deadline for enrolled students and remind you before it closes.
This is the calculation most students get wrong, and it costs them six months. CSEET is only the gateway — what matters is whether your result arrives in time to complete CS Executive registration before that attempt's cut-off.

Read this as a planning guide, not a guarantee. Executive registration deadlines follow ICSI's established pattern — 30 November and 31 January for the June session, 31 May and 31 July for the December session — but result dates vary and ICSI can revise its calendar. The practical consequence: clearing CSEET in February rather than June does not simply move you forward by one session. It can be the difference between registering for both Executive groups and being limited to a single group, which stretches the Executive level across an extra six months.
Not everyone does. Before you enrol in anything, check which side of this line you fall on — it decides whether you need CSEET coaching at all or should go straight to CS Executive.

Three of the four papers are now written by hand under time pressure. Structure, legibility, paragraphing and time allocation are taught explicitly and practised weekly, with answers marked and returned.
Small enough that written work actually gets individual feedback. A fifty-student batch cannot mark four descriptive papers per student per week, whatever it promises.
Notes and question banks built for the restructured pattern. We do not reuse pre-2026 MCQ banks, because the exam they were written for no longer exists.
Full-length mocks written by hand, timed, on answer sheets — because a student who has only ever typed or ticked will lose marks to pure mechanics on the day.

Most CSEET students are in Class 11 or 12. Batches are scheduled around college hours and board exam periods, and sessions are recorded.
The better option for most CSEET students, who are usually in Class 11 or 12 and benefit from a fixed schedule and peer accountability. Choose this if your one-way travel is under 45 minutes.

These scores were achieved under the previous 200-mark CSEET pattern. From the June 2026 session the exam carries 400 marks across four papers, so these figures are not directly comparable with results under the restructured format.

Ask any institute for the fee in writing before you pay — ours included. It should state the papers covered, number of sessions, what happens if you miss sessions, and the refund position if you withdraw.
Yes, substantially, with effect from the June 2026 session. CSEET now carries 400 marks across four papers of 100 each. Three papers — Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, and Economic and Business Environment — are descriptive and run three hours each. The fourth, Business Laws and Management, is objective on an OMR sheet over two hours. The exam is centre-based rather than remote proctored. Material written for the earlier 200-mark MCQ format no longer matches the exam.
Four to five months of consistent preparation is a realistic target for most students under the restructured pattern, allowing time for descriptive answer practice rather than only content coverage. Students preparing alongside Class 12 boards should plan five to six months, because the two months before boards are effectively unavailable.
It is a qualifying test rather than a competitive one — you need 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate, not a rank. What has changed is the nature of the difficulty. Under the earlier MCQ format, recognition was enough. Now three papers require you to produce structured written answers by hand within time, which trips up students who prepared by reading rather than writing.

No. Graduates and postgraduates in any stream except Fine Arts can register directly for the CS Executive Programme, as can candidates who have passed CA Final or CMA Final. If you are exempt, you do not need CSEET coaching at all — go straight to CS Executive. Final-year students cannot take provisional admission; the degree must be complete.
Yes, and most of our CSEET students do. Batch timings are set around junior college hours, and we plan around board exam periods rather than through them. The honest constraint is the two months immediately before your boards — plan your CSEET session so that window is not also your final revision period.

Yes. Live online batches run to the same schedule with the same faculty, and written work is still submitted, marked and returned. Sessions are recorded. Online generally makes sense if one-way travel to a centre would exceed about 45 minutes.
You register for the CS Executive Programme, which is seven papers across two modules under the ICSI 2022 syllabus and takes roughly nine to ten months per cycle. Registration is a separate ICSI step with its own deadlines. Our CS Executive batches run at both centres and online.
