Everything a June 2027 aspirant needs in one place: the two registration cut-offs you cannot miss, the 2022-scheme syllabus with the latest ICSI module changes, a month-by-month plan from August 2026 to exam day, and how Wisdom Academy's CS Executive batches in Mumbai are built around this attempt.
Short answer: To appear for both groups in June 2027, your ICSI Executive Programme registration must be complete by 30 November 2026. For a single group, the last date is 31 January 2027. These are registration cut-offs for the Executive Programme itself — the examination form is a separate step that opens around February 2027.
Students routinely confuse three different deadlines. They are not the same thing, and missing the first cannot be fixed by being early for the others:
| Stage | What it means | Date for June 2027 | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive registration (both groups) |
Enrolling as an ICSI Executive student. This is what decides your eligible attempt. | 30 November 2026 | Confirmed |
| Executive registration (single group) |
Same enrolment, but limits you to one group in the June 2027 session. | 31 January 2027 | Confirmed |
| Pre-Examination Test (PET) | Mandatory online test under the 2022 scheme. Must be cleared before you can enrol for the main exam. | Clear well before the exam-form window | Requirement |
| Examination form | Applying to sit the June 2027 papers, once you are already a registered student. | Approx. late Feb – late Mar 2027 | Projected |
| Exam form with late fee | Grace window with an additional fee. | Approx. first week of Apr 2027 | Projected |
You do not lose the year — you lose half of it. Registering between 1 December 2026 and 31 January 2027 still puts you in the June 2027 session, but for a single group only. Registering after 31 January 2027 pushes your first attempt to December 2027.
This is the most expensive mistake we see. A student who registers on 2 December has to split the level across June and December 2027, or wait. A student who registered on 28 November can clear the whole Executive level in one sitting and reach CS Professional six months sooner.
Eligibility for a specific attempt is decided by when your registration completes, not by when you plan to start studying. Find your earliest possible attempt:
| If your Executive registration completes… | Earliest attempt | Groups you can sit |
|---|---|---|
| On or before 30 Nov 2026 | June 2027 | Both groups, or a single group |
| Between 1 Dec 2026 and 31 Jan 2027 | June 2027 | Single group only |
| After 31 Jan 2027 | December 2027 | Subject to the December cut-offs |
Clear the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test, then register for the Executive Programme. Watch the timing trap: your CSEET result must be declared and your Executive registration completed before the cut-off. If your CSEET session result lands after 31 January 2027, your first Executive attempt is December 2027 — not June.
Graduates and postgraduates in any stream except Fine Arts can register directly without CSEET, as can candidates who have passed CA Final or CMA Final. Final-year students cannot take provisional admission — the degree must be complete. If you graduate in mid-2026, the 30 November window is comfortably within reach.
Before you rely on any date here: ICSI publishes the authoritative announcements on its student portal, and session calendars can be revised. Confirm your cut-off at icsi.edu/student before planning around it. Unsure which attempt you qualify for? Call +91-932-447-5566 and we will work it out against your CSEET session or graduation date.

The June 2027 attempt runs on the ICSI 2022 syllabus: seven papers across two groups, each carrying 100 marks. Group 1 builds your legal and financial base; Group 2 goes deeper into securities, economic law and taxation.
| Paper | Subject | Marks | Character |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jurisprudence, Interpretation and General Laws (JIGL) | 100 | Conceptual; rewards clear legal reasoning over memorisation |
| 2 | Company Law and Practice | 100 | The spine of the level; section-heavy and heavily examined |
| 3 | Setting up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws (SBIL) | 100 | Substantially revised — see the module update below |
| 4 | Corporate Accounting and Financial Management (CAFM) | 100 | Fully descriptive under the 2022 scheme; numerical practice decides the mark |
| Paper | Subject | Marks | Character |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Capital Market and Securities Laws (CMSL) | 100 | SEBI regulation-dense; needs current amendments |
| 6 | Economic, Commercial and Intellectual Property Laws (ECIPL) | 100 | Broad coverage; scoring if revised systematically |
| 7 | Tax Laws and Practice | 100 | Most feared, most improvable; assessment-year sensitive |
Two updates carried into the syllabus from the June 2026 session onward, and both remain live for June 2027 candidates:
The practical instruction for a June 2027 candidate: study only from ICSI modules issued for June 2026 or later, and treat Tax Laws as assessment-year sensitive — confirm the applicable assessment year for the June 2027 session before you buy or borrow material.
Offline, pen-and-paper, at ICSI examination centres across India.
Three hours per paper, with an additional reading window before writing begins.
A mix of descriptive and objective questions, varying by paper under the 2022 scheme.
English or Hindi, at the candidate's option for eligible papers.
Each group is assessed independently. Miss either condition and the whole group must be re-attempted — a 39 in one paper undoes an aggregate of 58. This is why students who chase marks in their strongest subject while ignoring a weak one so often re-sit a group they were close to clearing. Candidates are permitted a maximum of ten attempts at the Executive level.
Read this correctly. ICSI has not yet notified the June 2027 examination schedule. The dates below are projected from the institute's consistent pattern across recent June sessions and are labelled as such. Confirmed dates appear on icsi.edu, usually around February of the exam year — we update this page when they do.
| Event | Expected timing | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Registration closes — both groups | 30 November 2026 | Confirmed |
| Registration closes — single group | 31 January 2027 | Confirmed |
| Examination form released | Late February 2027 | Projected |
| Last date to submit exam form | Late March 2027 | Projected |
| Exam form with late fee | First week of April 2027 | Projected |
| Admit card available | Third week of May 2027 | Projected |
| CS Executive June 2027 examination | First week of June 2027 | Projected |
| Result declaration | August 2027 | Projected |
If you are registered and undecided, this is a real strategic choice rather than a formality. Three factors decide it.
From August 2026, a June 2027 candidate has roughly ten months — enough for two full revisions of both groups plus a mock cycle. A December 2026 candidate has about four. Four months is workable for one group; for both it usually means a first reading with no second revision, the pattern that produces a 38 in one paper.
Coming straight out of CSEET with no prior law exposure, June 2027 is the honest choice. Coming in as a commerce graduate with accounting and tax already familiar, a single group in December 2026 followed by the second in June 2027 can be faster than waiting to do both at once.
Students combining CS Executive with a B.Com semester, articleship or a job consistently overestimate available hours. If your university exams fall in the two months before the attempt, the June session — with semester exams typically behind you by April — is the less congested run.
Our working rule, from watching both cohorts: if you cannot commit to finishing your first full reading of both groups by mid-February 2027, do not attempt both groups in June 2027. Take one group seriously and clear it, rather than attempting two and clearing neither. Both-group attempts fail far more often on incomplete revision than on lack of ability.
This is the schedule our June 2027 batches follow. It is built backwards from the exam so the final eight weeks contain no new learning at all — only revision, answer writing and mocks.
JIGL and Company Law first — they carry the legal vocabulary every later paper assumes. Chapter-wise tests from week three. Start personal notes now, not in April.
Tax Laws and CMSL alongside CAFM numericals. Registration closes 30 November — complete it in this window, not on the deadline. First revision of Group 1 runs in parallel.
Full second revision of all seven papers. Clear the Pre-Examination Test. Submit the examination form as soon as the window opens; do not wait for the late-fee period.
Full-length mocks under exam conditions, one paper at a time. Written answers evaluated and returned — presentation costs more marks at this level than gaps in knowledge.
Short notes, section lists, case law and amendment recaps. Past papers from the last five sessions. No new material after the first week of May.
The most improvable paper on the syllabus. It rewards daily numerical practice and punishes stale material. One of his students, Gaurav Jain, scored 89/100 in Taxation and finished with AIR 32.
Build the reasoning first, then quote the section and apply it. Students who memorise sections without the underlying principle lose the application marks — which is where the paper is actually decided.
SBIL must be studied from post-June-2026 modules because of the Labour Codes restructuring. Comparative tables of the old statutes against the new Codes are the fastest way in.
Fully descriptive under the 2022 scheme, so working notes and presentation carry marks. Numerical accuracy alone will not get you there if the workings are not shown.

Small enough that a faculty member notices when you stop submitting answers. Doubts get resolved in the session, not queued.
Company Law, JIGL and Tax are taught by qualified Company Secretaries with five to nine years at this level — not by generalists.
Written answers marked and returned with corrections. Presentation is a taught skill here, not an afterthought in May.
Testing after every chapter, then full-length mocks under exam conditions from April 2027.
Batch schedules built around B.Com semesters and working hours, plus home tuition across Mumbai.
We track ICSI registration, PET and exam-form windows for enrolled students and remind you before each one closes.
For both groups, 30 November 2026. For a single group, 31 January 2027. These are Executive Programme registration deadlines. The examination form for June 2027 is a separate step expected to open around February 2027.
Yes, and starting in August 2026 gives you roughly ten months, which is genuinely enough. The condition is that you complete your first full reading of all seven papers by mid-February 2027, leaving March to May for two revisions and mocks. Students still learning new chapters in April rarely clear both groups.
Five to six focused hours a day from August 2026 is sufficient for both groups on a ten-month runway. Consistency matters far more than volume — four hours daily for ten months beats ten hours daily for the last two. What derails candidates is not the hours, it is a first reading that finishes too late to leave room for revision.
Most students name Tax Laws and Practice, because it combines computation, frequent legislative change and a large syllabus. It is also the paper that improves fastest with structured teaching and daily practice. Company Law is the paper that most often decides a group result, simply because of its weight and depth.
Not for everyone. Graduates and postgraduates in any stream other than Fine Arts, and candidates who have passed CA Final or CMA Final, can register directly without CSEET. Everyone else must clear CSEET first — and the result must be declared in time to complete Executive registration before the cut-off.
Only if your Executive registration is complete by 31 January 2027, which requires the CSEET result to be declared before then. If your CSEET session result falls after that date, your first Executive attempt will be December 2027. Check your session's result date against the registration cut-off before assuming June is available, or call us and we will map it out.
PET is a mandatory online test for Executive Programme students under the 2022 scheme. It must be cleared before you can enrol for the main examination. The fee is paid online and login credentials are typically issued within three to five working days. Clear it well before the exam-form window rather than during it.
The 2022 scheme continues to apply. The significant change is the SBIL paper, restructured around the four new Labour Codes with the chapter count rising from 20 to 23, applicable from June 2026 onwards. Company Law, JIGL and CMSL modules were also reissued to remove previously excluded topics. Use only modules issued for June 2026 or later.
Based on recent sessions, the examination schedule is typically notified around February of the exam year, with the exam itself in the first week of June. We update this page as soon as ICSI publishes the official notification.
